POOL LIFEGUARD
Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers: Cautions swimmers regarding unsafe areas. Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid. Maintains order in swimming areas. Inspects facilities for cleanliness. May clean and refill swimming pool. May determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit. May conduct or officiate at swimming meets. May give swimming instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess current Lifeguard Training and/or Community First Aid Training Instructor, AND Professional Rescuer Cardiopulmonary (CPR) certificate upon employment. Applicants must have knowledge of pool equipments and maintenance, must be quick and have knowledge of life saving techniques and CPR, must know the rules of the rules and standards in governing conduct of the public pools, knowledge of swimming pool sanitation and chlorination system, advanced swimming skills and speed, ability to react quickly and calmly in different situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be between 22-30 years of age. With at least 2 years of experience as a CERTIFIED Lifeguard. Applicant must be physically fit and be at least 5"7. Certification as a professional lifeguard is required. Comprehensive Resume with Detailed Job Description together with 2 pcs of 2x2 picture in white background with nametag and 2 pcs 3R whole body picture in business attire are the basic requirements. Copies of Employment Certificates, Valid Passport and NBI to follow.
